APT2B + STERLING K. BROWN

Apt2B partnered with Sterling K. Brown, the Emmy award winning star of This is Us, to provide an official mancave makeover.

Sterling K. Brown is quite the busy man right now, on the heels of taking home the Emmy for Best Actor for his role as Randall in the NBC hit show THIS IS US. As the father of two adorable boys and husband to Actress Ryan Michelle Bathe sometimes even Sterling needs some alone time. From learning lines to watching his beloved hometown St. Louis Cards, Sterling finds peace a mere 10 paces from his house in a converted garage now turned man cave thanks to small space design expert Kyle Schuneman. “I’ll no longer have to drive around in my car or go to restaurants to learn my lines, a space has been created now for me to be productive,” Sterling says.

This space has always been designated Dad’s place but throughout the years it has slowly become much more of a storage solution rather than his past sanctuary. On our first visit to the original space Sterling was on a call, truly using it as his work place, however his desk was a ping-pong table and the family Christmas tree was in the corner, and it was July! Sterling wanted to take back his space, and he did just that, thanks to small space guru Kyle Schuneman and Apt2B.

Big thanks to our friends at Paintzen who spackled and painted the man cave in this showstopper shade of Navy from Benjamin Moore.
